Step 1 — Your details

Enter your name exactly as it appears on your driver licence, passport or Medicare card. A mismatch is the most common reason verification fails.

Email address Enter a valid email address.

First name Must match your identity documents. Enter your first name.

Middle name (optional)

Last name Enter your last name.

Date of birth You must be 18 years or older. Enter a valid date of birth. You must be 18 or over.

Mobile number Australian mobile or landline. Used for account security, never for marketing unless you ask. Enter a valid Australian phone number.

Step 2 — Residential address

Your residential address in Australia. A PO Box cannot be used, and the address must match the one held against your identity documents.

Street address Enter your street address.

Suburb Enter your suburb.

Postcode Enter a four digit Australian postcode.

State or territory Select your state or territory.

Country Accounts are available to Australian residents only. Select Australia to continue.

Step 3 — Security and confirmations

Choose a password you do not use anywhere else. As part of opening the account we check the National Self-Exclusion Register — if you are currently registered with BetStop we cannot open an account for you.

Create a password At least eight characters, with letters and at least one number. Use eight characters or more, including a number.
