Head to head markets are settled as a draw where the competition rules do not provide for extra time, and stakes are returned. In finals, where extra time is played, settlement follows the final result including that extra time.
The line is a handicap applied to the favourite. Backing a team at minus nine and a half points means they need to win by ten or more for the bet to succeed.

03 About sports markets
Markets, prices and settlement
Three markets are offered on most fixtures. Head to head is the result of the match. The line applies a handicap to
the favourite so that both sides sit near even money. Totals ask whether the combined score finishes above or below a
set number. Prices are decimal and include your stake, so a two dollar price returns two dollars for every dollar
invested when it succeeds.
Markets are offered in line with the integrity rules and information-sharing arrangements of each sporting
controlling body — see integrity and race fields. Where a
competition amends a result after we have settled, our betting
rules set out what happens next. Anything we cannot resolve with you directly can go to our
complaints process.
One card, one limit. Sports and racing share the same account and the same deposit limit, so the
cap you set applies across everything you bet on.
Start times are shown in Brisbane time (AEST). Markets close at the scheduled start — we do not offer betting
once a fixture is under way.
